Here is another steam wagon model built from 1934-1941 blue and gold parts this a development of the 1934 Steam Wagon that I built recently, more or less following the instructions. As with all models built within the limited parts of an outfit by going outside these constraints much more can be achieved.  The original model had a resemblance to wagons built by the Yorkshire Patent Steam Wagon Co of Leeds. A search brought me to the picture bottom right (courtesy of Grace's Guide) of a Yorkshire Wagon with a 3 ton swing crane from 1922.  I made modifications to the original model and transformed it into a much more attractive model with a working crane. Several wagons were built by the Yorkshire Company with cranes. The Yorkshire and also Leyland steam wagons were unusual in having a boiler across the front of the wagon. Page created April 20 2022
